“Ambush” is a movie based on actual events that took place during the Vietnam War. It tells the story of American field engineers who attempt to retrieve a binder containing top-secret data stolen in a Viet Cong attack on their camp.
Filming took place in Colombia, and I had the privilege of supervising the final two days of shooting at the film studio in Bogota, where the Vietcong tunnel scenes were filmed. Later, I supervised the entire jungle shoot for two weeks.

The movie contained a variety of VFX shots. Some cleanup work was required, including the removal of wires and people from the footage. We also added 3D elements such as missiles and mortar rounds. Additionally, we incorporated numerous other elements like muzzle flashes, explosions, and set extensions, just to name a few.
